Rodrigo brings 14+ years of water infrastructure and ecosystem restoration experience to his role managing the Ganadería Regenerativa y Restauración de Selvas (GANRSEA) project in Chiapas, Mexico. With a PhD in Biotechnology and MS in Environmental Science, he has spent his career bridging technical expertise with on-the-ground delivery.
He has executed over 30 water and environmental projects across Latin America, securing financing through institutions like the IDB and World Bank. He specialized in climate resilience and nature-based solutions, particularly being involved in the development of sustainable water treatment systems. Leading multidisciplinary teams across Mexico, Brazil, Colombia, and beyond, Rodrigo has the ability to navigate complex stakeholder landscapes, manage operational budgets, and deliver measurable impact for communities and ecosystems. He is passionate about restoring forests while supporting local livelihoods in Chiapas.
