Javier is a sustainable agriculture and rural development leader with over 12 years’ experience delivering projects that generate measurable impact for ecosystems and rural communities across Latin America. As Director of GANBOS in Costa Rica, he leads a large-scale restoration initiative integrating reforestation and rotational grazing to transform degraded pastures into productive, biodiversity-rich landscapes.
An agronomist with an MBA in Project Management, Javier specialises in translating technical strategy into practical, field-based implementation – working closely with ranchers, local partners, and public institutions. He is passionate about building credible, scalable models that align environmental restoration with economic resilience.
