Freddie Harvey Williams is the Head of Project Compliance, sitting in rePLANET’s Project Design Team, responsible for ensuring that all elements of project design meet the requirements of the relevant standards being applied (e.g. Verra VCS and CCB), as well as rePLANET’s own working policies, action plans and safeguards. Freddie has a multidisciplinary background having worked across at the intersections of the themes of biodiversity, climate change, agriculture and social impact, having previously worked in the Sustainable Development, UK Ecology and NGO sectors. His academic background in ecology and socio-ecological systems has enabled Freddie to work any study in multiple parts of the tropics, where many of rePLANET’s projects are focused, but in spite of this he has ended up residing in Edinburgh.
